Caesar the Cat

Caesar the Cat is a video game in the action genre developed by Novotrade Software Kft. and published by Mirrorsoft Ltd. originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

Players control Caesar the Cat, who must stop the mice from eating the food in the pantry. This can be done by coming into contact with the mice so that Caesar has them in his mouth, and then bringing them to the pantry door that appears on the side of the screen when you do so. There are three types of mice, and the amount of points you get for taking them to the pantry door depends on which type you catch, with the highest scoring mouse being quite difficult to catch. Players can hold down the fire button to increase Caesar's speed to easily catch the mice, but they must also avoid hitting the jars in the cupboard.

There is a timer that counts down during the game. The time increases for each mouse the player successfully brings to the pantry door, but decreases when the mice completely eat the food, when players knock over the jars, or when they try to pass the game screen. The game ends when the timer reaches zero.
