Władca is a turn-based strategy game, similar to Defender of the Crown. The game is set in an imaginary kingdom in the 15th century. The goal is to unite the country and become king. The player can choose one or more of four rulers. The ruler has the possibility to buy and sell provinces, plunder the province, create an army, attack the province, make an alliance or participate in an archery tournament. The player has no effect on the battlefield. To defeat the enemy, the player must destroy the walls of his castle with a catapult. In addition, the game features a variety of random events, such as the loss of half of the gold.
The game allows playing up to four players.
